Wow, thank you Fr! This is what so many of us need to hear. As a Catholic convert from Protestantism who is trying to understand many of the lost traditions, this gave me more insight. Allhallowtide means so much to me now and the tension and fear I felt in the Evangelical community is gone. I started out in a modern Catholic parish that never talked about this or topics like the four last things. Thankfully really good books, the Baltimore catechism, the Catholic Bible, good catholic websites, and prayer led me to a more traditional parish that I’m so grateful for. Reading this reminded me again of how grateful I am to be Catholic.
