I think the vast majority of mental or psychological cases involve demons. Possessions, low level possessions, or simply demons deceiving people. When people say they hear voices in their head I don’t really doubt them. It’s simply the source comes from demons. So many people walk around in abject states with unabsolved mortal sin that their souls are darkened. That makes them vulnerable to committing even more sin and the situation worsens. Hardly anyone even factors in demons and/or sin in peoples mental state nowadays. We’re body/soul composites. Our minds aren’t simply physical objects. The mind isn’t like a bone you can just x-ray and treat. Until we go back to recognizing this fact people will stay baffled by cases like Lindsay Clancy, etc.
Tragically, my brother eventually died at his own hand, though he had been seeing both a psychiatrist and a New Age "reverend". I remember him crying out one day, "you don't know the demons that torture me!" I believe he was telling the truth. Sadly, none of us were equipped, spiritually, at that time to help him. I pray he found Divine Mercy at last.
